On April 24th, Lieutenant-General Eric Kenny, Commander of Royal Canadian Air Force, Ports Toronto, Nieuport Aviation, RCMI, Memory Anchor, Member of Parliament Kevin Vuong, University of Toronto Press and exhibition curator Ryan Goldsworthy joined the RCAF Foundation at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport to unveil a permanent propeller exhibit celebrating the airport’s connection to Canadian aviation history.

The event started by walking through the airport to share our new campaign, which is dedicated to celebrating the RCAF centennial.

We then all got on the airport shuttle to head to Toronto Union Station to share our banners with our friends that are illuminating Front Street to celebrate a century of aviation excellence and pay homage to the RCAF’s legacy in downtown Toronto.

Special thank you to our incredible Scholarship student Joon and cadets Anand, Marco, and Christopher for attending the event, all the organizers for all their hard work including Ports Toronto, Nieuport Aviation, Union Station, Via Rail, and Mallory and Matt for capturing the memories!
