We had an amazing time in Calgary on November 7. Thank you to all who joined us at The Hangar Flight Museum to celebrate the launch of Pathway to the Stars.

Our moderator for this event, Kendra Kincade from Elevate Aviation, encouraged our speakers Lt.-Gen. (Ret.) Michael Hood and Major Brett Parker to share stories about their service with the RCAF.

Co-author of Pathway to the Stars, Michael Hood, spoke about some of the stories from the book that stood out to him, including Allan Bundy, Elsie MacGill, and the “Kraut Line” – NHL hockey players who put their careers on hold to serve in the RCAF.

And Major Brett Parker shared stories from his time with the Canadian Forces Snowbirds – the coordination and practice it takes for this type of precision flying and his love for meeting young fans.

Thank you to OpenText for their generous support of our Pathway to the Stars book launch events.

Thank you to the Hangar Flight Museum for hosting us in your incredible facility. Thanks to our A/V team, Starlight, our Caterer – Fresh Kitchens, and our photographer, Suzan McEvoy for their excellent work!
