On November 12, Pathway to the Stars: Comox brought together aviation enthusiasts and RCAF supporters for an inspiring lunch, in partnership with the RCAF Association, celebrating the RCAF Centennial. Held at 19 Wing in Comox, BC, the event featured a captivating panel, featuring Air Force veterans George Miller, Syd Burrows and Robert ‘Scratch’ Mitchell, who shared stories of courage, duty, and service from the RCAF’s remarkable history. There were also special presentations Hon Colonel Bob Quartermain, and Terry Chester of the RCAF Association. Guests enjoyed multimedia presentations, light refreshments, and were provided with copies of Pathway to the Stars – 100 Years of the Royal Canadian Air Force, a book celebrating Canada’s rich aviation legacy.
